About Me:

Honestly not much yet, im 15 and my department requires you to be 18 to be a senior and to be 16 to take you CFR course. Obviousley there are the basic trainings and things that we as juniors do with the department but no individual things due to my age. Ai have however been involved in the FD since i was like 5 because of my dad who has always been part of 1, as well as my uncle, cousin and friends all are FF's!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My dad did it when i was real young and i loved being at the FH. I loved it when he would get calls becaus ethat meant i would go and see all the action and hang out at the hall with the trucks and the gear and everything! Its just an amzing feeling to be apart of something good for your community

Top Issues Facing Responders:

I feel for volunteers it is funding, its hard for volunteers to hgave the correct equipment without funding and it is hard to fund things when you are in such a small town wich is the case with most volunteer services.
