Why I Joined Fire/EMS

The reason that i joined the fire service was because of the community. I have lived here my entire life, and have so many friends and family members that live here as well. My Grandfather helped build our station when it was first started and he was also the very first active chief. My family has a lot of history with the fire service. I have always loved helping people, and this is one way I could help everyone and give back to the community as well.
