Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Taught MOFA (mountaineering Orienter First Aid), a class that teaches how to deal with medical emergencies and major injuries in the backcountry, and wanted to take a step further. Tried out for local volunteer fire department and got on!

Why I Love Fire/EMS: Satisfaction at the end of the day.

Hey so I'm new to this site. Looks real fun. Unfortunately I'm leaving town for 3 weeks (day job related- on a ship- no internet access) so I won't be able to respond for a while- so don't take it personally!
