Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I owe my career to an old boyfriend, Scott, who thought I need direction in my life. He was a paramedic/FF and he pushed for me to get involved. I started slowly as a volunteer FF, then FR and then to EMT/FF and began to like it. Chose it as my primary career, and 16 years later and still loving it!
