Top Issues Facing Responders:

Down in south Mississippi, we are limited to doing only basic things due to not having Med Control for volunteer fire departments. I really want to bring extra skills to the table, as an EMT, to my VFD but I can't. EMRs are 9 times out of 10 the first on scene. Why aren't we fighting harder for them?

It's heart breaking and gut wrenching to know you can't do anything to help and the ambulance service is over 15 minutes out...
