Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My family has a history in the fire service that has been allowed to slip for a generation. Although this was a contributing factor in my decision, it came more from the life long dream of being a fire (expert) and from wanting the camaraderie that firefighters share.
Also have always wanted to do something that is highly beneficial to the community as well as satisfying (not boring) for myself.
