Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have been raised to be a fireman. It's been apart of me before I was born. My father has been serving since 1976 along with my uncle Bud shortly after. My grandfather (mom's dad) was on a neighboring Knox DEPT. for 25yrs. Uncle Ted, Dad & Bud's brother-in-law also served on Bass Lake's dept. and is currently on the Knox dept. which my grand father retired from. Not to mention the feeling inside when I am able help other people "friend's". Oh ya the rush I could'nt see myself not being apart of the service!
