Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you are enjoying FFN so far. While you are online, feel free to come check out my blog, Firehouse Zen, which actually originated here on FFN and is now hosted by FireEMSblogs.com And if you are a Facebook member, we'd love to have you "like" us there as well.
Kevin, Welcome to the Firefighter Nation. I am glad you joined the group. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Have fun and look around.

kevin, welcome to the family ,,,, it's a fun site & does have interesting blog discussions ,,,, i like reading & seeing how other departments do the same thing but also like looking at different styled apparatus's used all over the world ,,,, i'm a crash firefighter and we have some of the weirdest ,,,, look at my pics to see some past and present day pieces ,,,,
word to the wise, if you trade patches be careful, there are a few people here that just want to get one then not send one back ,,,, i won't mail anything now till i have something in hand ,,,, my goal now is not to get a patch from you i do not collect them ,,,, (but i will trade duty tee-shirts from far away countries and that's how i got "BURNED", i sent the sleaze a tee-shirt & 3 patches and got nothing back ...) i'm just watch-n your back, something most of us on the job understand, it's a big part of what the brotherhood and the family is all about ,,,, if you wanna add me as a friend, great ,,,, if not, that too is OK because this message is intended to mostly welcome, but also warn you ,,,, like in the fire service, not all things are as they appear ,,,, work hard, play hard and train even harder ,,,,
what we do makes a difference, be safe, god bless and smile a lot and every day, it will piss someone off ,,,,
lucky
PS: pics, pics and more pics ,,,,
