I have a few certs and will be in FF1 and 2 this june. I have my EMT-B as well.
About Me:
I am 18 years old and have lived in sullivan my whole life. I love the fire service and although being a female in a male orientated world is not always easy no one will ever tell me I cant do it because I DO.
I wanted to become only a flight paramedic. I was told if I became a Jr. Firefighter would help me get experience in EMS. I didnt however expect to fall in love with Fire service.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I joined this line of work to help people and thats why I love doing what I do because I save lives, property, and lively hoods.

NO! Honey ya I have had felt similar things but it doesn't suck these people are just being a**** nothing more. Be strong and remember the reason you do this its not to keep everyone on your service happy right? I have dealt with something similar if you ever want to talk! My email is barrelgirl_07@yahoo.com
When you are young the fire service will suck from time to time. It is the nature of the beast. Look just keep on trying, just rember there are other departments out there also. Maybe its time to change if you are that unhappy. Look just keep trying, if not then change.
