- I first was a volunteer firefighter at Westfield Fire Dept. in my home town. It now is a paid dept. I was a paid fire fighter with Washington Township Fire Dept in Marion County, Indianaoplis for 24 years. We have merged with IFD and I have now been with them for 1 year. The changes have been minimal since merging except that the "well oiled machine" we used to be, is now a "not so smoothly running machine with many occasional passengers".

- I've been an EMT for 27 years. I have a masters in tactics and fire strategy, and also fire prevention. 1st class firefighter & I've been a certified driver and pump operator for 22 years. I'm currently on 2 tactical teams: Rope Rescue and Extrication.

- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I Fell in love with the fire service and being the one who intervenes in an emergency situation. I have 25 years as a paid fire fighter and still love the job and helping the public.
