Why I Joined Fire/EMS
In my small community i am a third generation fire fighter. My grandfather Cecil Smith help to start the fire department and my father Kenneth Smith sr was an active fire fighter untill his passing. I decided i wanted to follow in their footsteps. Both of their numbers have been retired and i hope to one day have mine retired right under theirs.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
i live in a small community and it is my family line to be a fire fighter. I love the rush of hearing the pager go off at three in the morning, as well as the community spirit and bonding of the other local departments.
