Married with one in college. Living in rural Oklahoma and giving my time for the Happyland Fire Department to help others. Also a hunter's ed. instructor. I am very opinionated and am very outspoken when it comes to public safety or the safety of my fellow responders.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Lack of training opportunities (although it is now easier to receive in Oklahoma) and the lack of adequate equipment. We have to run our department on donations, as the state is our only source of income, and that is at a little over $400 per month. No money there for equipment or training budgets.
