Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Its was a huge part of my family growing up. The family dwindles out of it but my dad became the cheif. I always loved the firetrucks, lights flashing. It just was in my blood. And I signed up as soon as i could. My district alows people age 16 and up to joing. But between 16 and 18 you are Jr Firefighters... I wasnt too thrilled about the baby named title but I loved the firefighter part of it.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

the thrill amount of skills needed, the rush and the people who become like a seccond family

to many people try and cant deal with the heat. There arent enough volunteers and no one has enough respect for what we do.
