The fact that after every call, I know that I have made somewhat of a difference.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Safety, Fitness, Not enough Triaining, Lack of Personell and resources for some depts, Attitude towards fellow firefighters, Egos, And loss of passion for the job.

After the last snow storm (the usual MVA increase) we have been fairly quiet. We have a couple days of peace and then get hit with 6 in a day like its nothing. No real big calls in my district, had a cooker not too far away this morning. How are things in your neck of the woods?
