I have volunteered in the fire dept since 1998 and been riding on ambulances since I was 18. I can't imagine anything else I could be doing

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I loved doing things for others and i learned a lot about values from my parents and then in high school JROTC did that too and I wanted to serve but I'm not in shape for the military so I tried wearing a different uniform and haven't looked back since.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I feel like I belong to a family. Though sometimes I don't get to hang around the fire dept as much as I'd like too.
