About Me:: My name is Josh and am currently involved with a fairly active FD in NE Ohio. Im in the job for the challenges, excitement and service to my hometown. It seems as if we never stop working and are always go-go-go at the FD. I am currently a FF2, EMT-B and Haz Mat tech and will soon be a member of the newly formed Columbiana County Haz Mat team. I am also an assistant instructor for the East Palestine Fire Training Academy, which serves Columbiana and Mahoning Counties.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I'm a third generation Firefighter and have always loved the profession. I started as a fire explorer at the age of 14 and recieved state cert at 18 and have been doing it ever since.

East Palestine FD 240 hour Firefighter I&II course

The East Palestine Fire Dept Training Center #398 will once again have the 240 Hour Firefighter I & II course. Information is as follows:

East Palestine Fire Department

67 East Clark St

East Palestine, OH 44413

Ph. 330-426-4341

Class will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1800 to 2200 Hrs and Saturdays from 0800 to 1600 Hrs.

Course begins Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and will conclude Tuesday December 19, 2009
