Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I watched Emergency ! Squad 51 old time television, when I was young boy. I told my friends and family that I wanted to be fireman. They told me that I can't work for firefighter because I am deaf. Now look at me, I did and volunteer for Brumley Fire Prot. Dist. for 13 and half years. I got promoted to Lieutenant Safety Officer for 5 years and also I work on Emergency Medical Service and Rescue,too. My son,Tony also firefighter,Lt. Training Officer and interepter for deaf. I am proud for this.
