Top Issues Facing Responders:

I feel the top issue in the fire service is firefighter saftey. The importance of firefighter saftey is often an overlooked topic in fire departments today. There is not enough being done on things like "Calling a Mayday" or Self Rescue. If anything stress something in your department it should be saftey. The saying "Every one goes home" should not just be a sticker on our helments. It should be the backbone of our departments. Be the solution not the problem
