About Me:
I have been a proud member of my childhood Volunteer Fire Department on and off again for the last 20 years. When I turned 18 I knew it was a duty for me to help protect my community. When I spent my summers in Brooklyn NY the Firefighters of Battalion 41 Engine 231/Ladder 120 Watkins St. were my neighborhood firehouse; the Battalion Chief took me in to the house when I seemed to be lonely and friendless. These members of FDNY schooled me the real ways of firefighting and from there I was hooked. I later participated in revolutions as a certified Firefighter with not only Battalion 41 but also Rescue 1 & 2 on the "Rock" training grounds in New York. I was very honored and I chose to sharpen my Rescue Firefighting skills to the highest levels possible. To quote the late Capt. Hatton "Training, Training, Training to Outstanding"
