CPR, helicopter safety, wildland firefighting, and all of the basic classes. i have also been trained in search and rescue, farm rescue, vehicle extrication, methamphetamine and other related drugs, salvage and overhaul, search and reascue, fire behaviors, nozzle and pump operations, ifsac firefighter 1 and firefighter2

About Me:

My Name is John Bush and i am a member of Lily Volunteer Fire Department in London, Kentucky. I have been there 3years and i love every minute of it. I am currently a junior firefighter and i am training as hard as i can so i will know exactly what to do when it is my turn to help someone in the future.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined a Fire Department because i was interested in what firefighters did. I wanted to learn what they did and I wanted to help save someone's life too. I love being a firefighter and i am going to be an emt as well. i care for others and i do my best as a junior firefighter to protect my community. i will be attending EKU and i will be taking firefighter investigation, firefighter science, and homeland security. i start IFSAC training in january(I believe thats how u spell ifsac) and i am planning on being a colorgaurd for all the firedepartments in my distrit.
