Grew up in Juneau my whole life, decided to be a firefighter my freshman year of high school. Made it happen by my senior year but joined the Navy to get out of Juneau and explore a little. Will be returning to firefighting ASAP

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined firefighting because I'm passionate about the job. I love helping people and I don't have a problem sacrificing my time to do it. It's the perfect job for me. The scenery changes, the job is exciting and dangerous, and at the end of the day you know you're doing the right thing.
