In response to the getting people motivated to do fundraising. I find that if I can get them involved when they are new members they continue to stay involved with helping. I come from a long line of FF's and we have always understood the importance of raising funds to get the "new toys". Unfortunitly there are those who feel that they should only have to be required to "play" and not help raise the money.

John, yes, I went back to KME and met with the engineers about three weeks ago. Long day! I am glad that part is done and we can move on now. Yes we have bee issued a number I think its 6227. It supposed to be done some time in October or November. We are excited to see it finished. I fly back once more before the finish. Its been a fun process but one that I probably wont have the opportunity to go through again. I plan to retire in 3-5 years. This is the second truck I have speched and purchased. Both processes were as different as night an day. GIT ER DONE!
