Why I Joined Fire/EMS

well in 2001 my dad joined he is now a major and since then i have been involved with the dept. and in 2005 my brother joined and he is now full time and in 2008 i actually joined the dept. as a junior

i get to help my community

i think the top issues are just trying to have the thought of leaving your family when that tone goes off to save someone that half the time you dont even know and always have the thought that you may never see your family again
