completed essentials of ff @ Allegheny co. fire academy. which consist of intro., support ff, ext. ff, haz-mat awareness, & interior ff.. I also have taken some basic rigging & rope rescue classes @ ACFA.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I enjoy helping anyway I can. After a few years being a cub scout leader ,at which I spent alot of time, my son was finishing with scouts & I had a prospect of having way to much free time. Of course for me 5 minutes of sittin around drives me nuts. My time with scouts however gave me my first interaction with my dept.. so it seamed a perfect fit, me looking for a way to help, and the dept., short of man power got some help too. The only regret I have is that I wish I would have joined years earlier.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love to help my fellow neighbor. I love the thrill & anticipation on the way to a call. Mostly I love my brother & sister fire fighters
