Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I live in a small town and one day we had a community event called Bush Day. The fire department was there and my boyfriend joined. Within a month I joined. I fell in love with the duties and the people involved. Since then my oldest daughter has joined and we have both recently become certified first responders.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: the abilty to help people at there most diffucult time and the wonderful people that I have met

Top Issues Facing Responders:: In my area it would have to be the problems finding volunteers and the 911 call center response time
