jess, thanks for the add but a bad move on your part because now your gonna have to write once in awhile to help me remember who you are :-D ,,,, tell about anything, life, the wife, the job, kids grand or otherwise, even a good joke ,,,, nothing like exchanging e-mails with friends when it's slow here at the station or at home when i'm chill-in ,,,,
C-ya, be safe and god bless

Hi Jess! Welcome to FFN. I'm a newbie too, but I'm already meeting some wonderful people and learning about new opportunities as well! I noticed you were looking for some training opportunities. I work for the Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL. We provide fully funded training opportunities to our nations first responders. (And by fully funded I mean travel, meals, lodging, and training materials at no cost to you or your department) Please feel free to explore our website ( and if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. (I am your Regional Coordinator) I hope you find some courses that interest you!! Take care!!

jess, welcome to the family ,,,, it's a fun site & does have some interesting blog discussions ,,,, i also like seeing how other departments do the same thing but also like looking at different styled apparatus's used all over the world ,,,, i'm a crash firefighter and we have some of the weirdest ,,,, look at my pics to see some past and present day pieces ,,,, word to the wise, if you trade patches be careful, there are a few people here that just want to get one then not send one back ,,,, i won't mail anything now till i have something in hand ,,,, my goal now is not to get a patch from you i do not collect them ,,,, (but i will trade duty tee-shirts from far away countries and that's how i got "BURNED", i sent the sleaze a tee-shirt & 3 patches and got nothing back ...) i'm just watch-n your back, something most of us on the job understand, it's a big part of what the brotherhood and the family is all about ,,,, if you wanna add me as a friend, great ,,,, if not, that too is OK because this message is intended to mostly welcome but also warn you too ,,,, like in the fire service, not all things are as they appear ,,,,
what we do makes a difference, be safe, god bless and smile a lot, it will piss someone off lmao :) :) ,,,,
PS: pics, pics and more pics ,,,,
