I am a state certified EMT-B as well as possessing operational status through the Mountain Rescue Association (High and low angle rescue). I am also qualified as a Wilderness EMT.

I love the wilderness and see volunteering with a search and rescue team as an extension of it. My current interests include BLS and ALS with an emphasis on wilderness or austere conditions as well as international development.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the community because I wanted to bring additional medical knowledge to a local Search and Rescue team as well as to better prepare me for international work in developing countries.
