- I LOVE EMS. I started with the local volunteer ambulance service when I was 15. I met my husband there, we have been married 20 years. He is a volunteer fireman. My daughter graduated high school in May and already has her EMT Basic and is finishing up with Advanced. I have a 8 year old son who also wants to be a fireman.
