About Me:
I am 21 years old. I began in fire service at 18 for a volunteer department (Arma FD). While working with them, I decided to get my EMT-Basic license. I achieved my EMT-Basic license, and continued to my Kansas EMT-Intermediate. With that, I contniued to work for Arma Fire and Baxter Springs EMS PRN. As an opening became available for Mercy EMS, I applied, and was accepted as a full time EMT-I. With very little time to attend meetings and calls, I quit Arma Fire. In May, I moved to Fort Scott where I joined Scott Township Fire/Rescue. In July, I was offered a full time job for Labette Health EMS. I still remain PRN at Mercy EMS, and I still volunteer for STFD. I enjoy my time helping others, and spending time with friends when I am not working.

EMT-I (LHEMS)
Relationship Status:
Single
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The look of relief a patient gets when we walk through the door to help them
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of sufficient pay/benefits
