Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined because I grew up around the fire department my whole life basically. Our fire department is basically new, we have been operational sense 2001 I grew up living beside the fire department and just seeing what the fireman before me did it encouraged me so on my 18th birthday I walked up to the chief who has been my friend from many years before and said give me the papers and show me where to sign.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I just love helping people it's what makes me feel good about myself knowing that I can make a difference for the good of everyone no matter how small the matter may be.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Honestly I wouldn't know where to begin because radios and pagers get static interference sometimes, in the winter trucks won't hardly start that's why I say thank god for the diesel engine WOOO lol, it's just a bunch of different crap all thrown in to whatever situation at whatever time is what I think.
