Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I didn't but worked in a affiliated field - law enforcement.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Because of my high respect for the work they do.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I would say budget concerns in the current economy, training, and turnover. If it's like in other first responder agencies, the Baby Boomers are retiring in great numbers. You need to have qualified, healthy people interested in fire service.
