Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the Walworth Fire Department because it has been part of my life forever. I joined my senior year of high school and attended MATC-Madison to get my Associates Degree in Fire Science.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The job is different everytime we get called out.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Volunteers. I think i could say most volunteer departments are lacking personel during the day calls. The world of volunteers is going down and there needs to be more Career Fire Departments out there to get the truck to the scene and get the job done.
