Why I Joined Fire/EMS
The preservation of Life and Land. Pride for my kids, Role Model for my son. Public Safety in a dangerous world. Giving back to my community with the threat of my life. Preserving honor to my family name. And to show there are still some Home Town Heros left in the world. Better question would be Why Wouldn't you be in FireFighter. Thanks.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The adrinilin aspects, the scatterd thoughts of men brought together by a squad. Nothing else matters on scene except the task at hand, we argue later.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Subordination, too many politics in the brotherhood, there should be compitition to see who is the best in there class( for learning purposes) our goals are to save lives and property, thats why I do it. All stations should give love accross the stations to our brothers, they dont lay any more down than each one of us, their sacrifice is no less than any. interdepartment "sibling rivalry" and station to station bitterness is selfish and not what a firefighter stands for. I love my job and each one as if they are my blood brothers, some I dont like much at times, but they are still my brother and would sacrafice mine for theirs, no regrets.
