Why I Joined Fire/EMS

At the time, I joined the volunteer fire department because I thought it was interesting. But after the first couple of fires, I felt drawn to it, and now firefighting is the love of my life.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The adrenenline rush and the camaradarie.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

The division of territory and, especially for the volunteer fire departments, the lack of willingness to help keep equipment and the stations in good shape.
