About Me:
I am a passionate student of the fire service. I got my start as a paid-call firefighter and was eventually hired as a full-time firefighter in 2016. I have served in all leadership capacities for the Chubbuck Firefighters Association. I have also served as the Kaplan University Public Safety Club President where I started a monthly speaking series for students to hear advice from not only Kaplan's instructors, but from speakers with expertise in public safety. Last year I also developed a junior firefighter camp through the Idaho State University Workforce Training. I am currently working on my MBA through Purdue Global University.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I joined the fire/EMS services thanks to the influence of my grandfather who was a firefighter for the Pocatello Fire Department. I developed a love for serving my community through my participation in religion and in the Boy Scouts of America. I am now living my dream of helping my neighbors when they need me most.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love Fire/EMS because of the mentors and peers that truly understand the meaning of brotherhood.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Suicide. Mass Casualty incident debriefing. Cancer. Cardiac events. Leadership. Mentoring. Being progressive while still maintaining tradition.
