Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have always wanted to be a FF when i was a kid and now here i am and also taking college classes to be a city FF

Why I Love Fire/EMS

the good feeling inside i get when someone is pulled from a car still alive when they were pinned in or when you are a part of the team that saves someones house from being totally destroyed

Top Issues Facing Responders:

politics within the depts. and the grants that go to the wealthy depts who can get a new truck almost every year when the more rural depts barely get enough to get a set of turnout gear, and when depts play "favorites" like in gym class
