About Me:

I joined Clear Spring Fire-Rescue on Dec 31st 2005. I became a volunteer there. I took a few classes and was able to start working some part time shifts. I decided that I wanted to be a full-time fireman. I saved up some money and we to the SC Fire academy FFII candidate school "rookie school". The program goes through all your basic FF classes from 1st responder to FF 2. I put in applications through out the county that I live in. I was hired by Simpsonville City Fire dept. I love everyday I come to work and all my shift. I just came off probation and i'm the rookie on my shift as well as the youngest so I get all the ragging on, but like I said I still love coming to work and I have a blast.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Started volunteering at my local fire dept. I liked it alot and decided that's what I wanted to do as a career and felt like I had a calling to do it.
