Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I have a long family history in the fire service. My dad spent 37 years in the fire service and my brother is a Captain. Along with numerous other family members. I was born to be a fireman no other job in the world for me.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love the botherhood and everything about the fire service.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
RIP Ryan Hummer 7-21-08. Ryan was one of my good friends I grew up with him and helped him into the fire service. Ryan was shot and killed last summer while fighting a car fire. What would have been his first fire. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and hope that I can make him proud during my career.

Hey Jeff,
CONGRATULATIONS BROTHER!! The interview is basically a formality. Unless you do something really stupid, (which you won't!) you're in! I won't be a full time instructor for this class, that creates too many problems at the airport, but I'm sure I'll teach a subject or two. Still waiting and hoping to get promoted, but I'll be surprised if that happens before early next year.
