I am hoping to get alot more course. Right now i just have the very basics.
CPR for the professional Rescuer,
Advanced Fire Aid
Basic Water Rescue.
When i am older i can get more fire credits, but i am getting all the credits i can for my age

About Me:

I am Explorer with a County FIre dept. in California.
I love every second of it. I am an outdoors kinda person, so i like to workout by mountian biking, running and hiking. and going to gym ofcourse
I want to be a Firefighter Paramedic.
I really like Wildland and Srructual Firefighters and the stuff that comes along with that. But the place where i really excell is with the Medical stuff. I really really like the EMS side of things.
But I love it all.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I got involved with the fire dept. last summer doing community service for school. I got more and more into it and when it came time for me to chose my graduation project, I chose to do it on becoming a firefighter paramedic. I had the most awsome with this project. I two mentors who were firefighters with the local dept. They were great and thus i got more in to the fire service. I applyed to be an explorer and got in. I am now an Explorer with the dept., I started doing community service for.
I dont really know excatly why i become into it. It just felt like something i had never expirenced. Something so greatm to help people.
People constantly ask me, how did you get into the whole firefighting thing?. I can never come up with a singular anwser. I guess I just always want to be there, to make any sort of positive difference I can on the people I meet. Whether I am hanging from the side of a building to save a life or giving a toddler a band aid, I just always want to be there to help. I see how happy the little kids are as the firefighters show then the shinning trucks and I just want to be able to make that small difference in someones day. I see the gratitude of a parent who's child is rescued from a burning building and I just want to be able to make that difference in someones life.
I guess that is mostly why.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

wow, idk the shinny engines. LOL. hopefully one day being the person who when arrives, people feel that everything will get somewhat better.
