Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined the fire service because I had a friend that was killed in a car accident and I seen what they did to try in save him and I said to him at the service that I would do what I had to do to be able to help others like the ones that tried to help him and when I was old enough to be a member I did and still am today.
