Why I Joined Fire/EMS: My uncles were firefighter and little league coaches were firefighters and i grew up around it and loved the thought of being a firefighter since i can remember so when i finished high school joined the local dept. 7 yrs later i am just about finished with my associates degree in fire science a LT on our dept and looking to be a full time firefighter like I have all ways dreamed of plus I start my medic class next month.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: their is no better fealing then saving a life

Ok i have been on my local vol. dept now for 8 years right out of high school and trying to go full time. in the mean time working full time as a construction worker to pay for school. after getting my degree in fire science tech. and emergency medical medicine i just got passed over for capt. by a kid that has been on for 2 and a half years with no experience or school he doesnt even have a high school education. fire one and fire two thats it. but he is 28 lives at home with his parents,… Continue
