About Me:

I'm 20 years old and I love the out doors. I love my boyfriend to death. He also volunteers at the station as I do. We met at church and been together every since. Doing anything outdoors and with him is the life to have.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

It was a dream since I was 5 y/o. I never thought I would follow through with it. Money for college never comes easy. But in August 2006 I met the most wonderful guy, Branden. Come fo my knowledge he was a VFF at the time. The station he was at was having class every 3rd night. I decided to go. When I did I loved it. To this day I still love the adrenaline rush of when the pager sounds off. I hope to stay in the fire service for a very long time.

I am part of the Fire Service because I feel that I am called to help others who are in need. They have given to me, now it is my time to give back to them. The love for others is what keeps me there.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

TRAFFIC!! Pedestrians who don't want to move out of the way to let Emergency Vehicles have the right of way. Also people who like to put down fire fighters or think we are not worth much of a grain of sand
