About Me:

I'm a full time student, firefighter/EMT, and recently enlisted in the Army National Guard as a healthcare specialist (Medic) with the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. I'm planning on becoming a paramedic and a nurse, I'm thinking about going active duty army if I like it in the guard. My goal is to be on a medevac helicopter.

It kicks ass. ... love helping my community and being part of something important.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Volunteer vs Career in my department since we're a combination department, volunteers night and weekends, full-time weekdays. Also who's in charge; cops or firefighters. Big issue in my department since three guys have gotten tickets responding to the firehouse lights and sirens in the past month... including my Captain.
