I'm Emily Barbeau. I recently joined Lima Fire Department. I love everyone there. It's one big family. My Dad has been a firefighter / emt for over 33 years. I grew up in a firehouse.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have always been interested in firefighting because of my father and once I started I realized it's what I want to do.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love the rush and I love helping other people.

I think that many responders need to slow down and make sure everything is set in place rather than rushing to a scene.
