Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To save lifes and property and help people in need; I watch my family home burn to the ground on Christmas Day in 1959 and I told my dad and mom that that night that when I grew up I wanted to be a fireman ; and a few years later a fire station was builted acrossed the street from the school I attended and I when by there most days and talked to the firefighters and they give me alot of advise and help me get on dept. after getting out of high school.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping People Gets in the blood
Top Issues Facing Responders:
The hazards they face every time they get in into there vehicles enroute to calls and hazards found at call scenes and alot of departments have poor equpment to fight fires with.
