Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I originally became involved in the fire service because it was something which seemed exciting. After time, I have come to respect this line of work and those who have also chosen to participate in it, wether they be volunteer of full-time. Like the saying goes, "If not me/us, then who?"

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Being able to help person/s and participate in awareness programs for kids.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

that some of the smaller departments and/or fire protection districts lack the funds to properly equip their people like the bigger departments with big budgets can. These smaller departments have to make do with what they have until someone makes a donation and/or if the department/district wins a grant to fund for new equipment.
