Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I saw a woman code infront of me while I was volunteering at a festival. She was never brought back. Someone there with the fire department told me that there are two types of people in these situations. The ones who run to a problem to try and help without hesitation. Then there are the ones that run like hell at the first sign of trouble, so where they never have to act.
I decide to run to the bad times, no matter what!

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It gives me the feeling that I can truely do something signifigant for someone other than myself.
