About Me:
After 5 years of service as a volunteer/paid-call firefighter I was hired by the City of Flint F.D., unfortunetly the city had financial issues and I was forced to find more stable employment in a neighboring county.
My hometown volunteer fire department was always short-handed, so when I turned 18 I joined the department and never looked back. Since that time I've made a career out of it and I can't imagine doing anything else.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I'm my kids hero!
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Protecting our own. Let's stop sending our crews into commercial buildings that are heavily insured and will be torn down regardless of the fact we (the firefighters) left it standing.

Hey Dean! Have you heard about our latest round of layoffs in Flint? Bet you're glad you made the move to Waterford. I know it was hard to do but it was the best thing.
