Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When I was three, the towns fire phone was in our house. My mom took the calls and push the button to sound the fire siren on top of the fire stations. 20 years old, I got my Firefighter 1 and EMT certs. Now retired, I have been involved in FIRE/Rescue E.I.D. - Emergency Incident Documentations for three fire depts. In addition, I am the national director for ACTS Emergency Relief and ACTS EMERGENCY RESPONSE... both a part of www.ACTSDR.org a 501(c) 3 Non-profit Charity organization. ACTS EMERGENCY RESPONSE is run by Fire Chiefs and it is a growing organization.
