Welcome to the Nation from Amarillo Texas. Becoming a firefighter is a long and gruling road . Go to school and get the education and certifications that you need to get your foot in the door of most depts. Join a volunteer dept to begin getting experience and once you begin getting experience you will be suprised of the reaction you will get when you apply to any dept .
